ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY
Students may be enrolled at the AISL upon completing the requirements for enrolment and receiving approval from the director.
At the time of registration, the following original documents should be presented:

All previous school records

Original birth certificate or passport

Any relevant medical records including vaccinations. The following vaccinations must be up to date:

Yellow Fever
-
Mumps, Measles, Rubella (MMR)
-
Typhoid
-
Hepatitis B
-
Meningitis
-
DPT
-
Two recent passport photos
-
Copy of Carte de sojourn for non-Togolese
The school does not have services for students with special needs and reserves the right to deny admission to students with special needs.
Originals of any documents submitted will be photocopied and returned to the student (or family).
Students entering nursery school must be one and one half years of age. Kindergarten students must be age five by September 30th of the year in which they enroll.
In some cases, exceptions are possible with the director’s approval for students who turn five by Dec. 31.
Students entering Grades 10 and above must provide school reports in English or translations (to English) by an accredited translator of all previous school records, starting with Grade 9.
These will be kept in the students’ files along with the copies of those in the original language.
We need these documents for evaluation and credits and to help with college applications.
All students entering Middle or High School must take a level placement test in Math.
An English language skills level test is also required for those entering grades 6-10 whose English language skills are low.
The test will be given at the beginning and end of the year and towards the end of Semester 1.
NOTE:Students entering AISL in grades 10 and above must meet a satisfactory standard to complete and receive a high school diploma. Generally speaking, any transferring high school student will need to spend a minimum of two years at AISL in order to meet all requirements for graduation.
PAYMENT OF FEES
Tuition fees are due and payable at the time of registration.
Payment may be on an annual, semester, or quarterly basis: the first payment is due prior to attendance, whichever financial plan is chosen.
All parents must sign a Tuition Agreement.
All fees will be paid after the second week of classes.
Students will not continue classes until all fees are paid in full.
